In 2018 Kalmunity founded Canada’s 1st & only annual black art & music week, eponymously named, which has hosted acts such as Smif-N-Wessun, Sa-Roc, Mumu Fresh, Larnell Lewis & Yaadcore.
Kalmunity’s onstage collaborations include Lady Alma, Iba Mahr, Dwayne Morgan, Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Micah Shemiah, Shi Wisdom, Rich Brown & Maestro Fresh Wes.
Since 2003 Kalmunity has served as cultural arts ambassadors who offer creative workshops in schools, community centers & prisons across Canada & continue to cultivate safe spaces of free expression for marginalized voices
